The biggest help will always be a mod friendly dealership. They single highhandedly can make or break a warranty request when you are modded.

if i was the one weighing to pros and cons of tuning it myself to get rid of a 3-4mph error vs losing my powertrain warranty ... i would take the 3-4mph annoyance. or just have a dealer do it ...

They can do this at the dealership.

I would definately not re-flash the ECU if you are concerned about maintaining your warranty.

not really sure about this and the post say'in can't be done ..I think it is a dealer thing as mine said they do it when they do the "Custom trucks "..so I guess you just have to check with your dealer / stealer

I am telling, they cant. Not since the new GM Global platform came out which was around 2010 depending on the car model. The trucks havent been able to do it since the 2014 models came out.

The dealer can only flash the ECM with the factory OEM calibration that is in the system from GM. They cant make any changes at all for tire sizes.

Speedo recal will not affect warranty. It does not increase the flash counter. They could however view that you have a different speedo segment. I doubt they care.
