Do people say they can't hear you, like the volume is too low? or do they say you sound muffled?

Just got my 2017, Bluetooth call quality is awful - I have to yell even in Touring mode, can't even use for business calls. There has to be a solution to this, my beater Optima works 10x better.

Mine was like that too, brought it, supposedly they took it apart and found nothing. Since then, has been a million times better, not sure why, but the dealer claims they did nothing.

Hmm, maybe there's some filter before the mic that they didn't replace when they put it back together?

Not sure, but seriously a night and day difference. Unless they did something but told me otherwise, it is definitely better.

Easy fix. Ask for repair 1. Not working? Ask for repair 2. Not working? Ask for repair 3. Not working ? Send a lemon law for final attempt to fix the issue to GM. They ll find a solution for sure.

I would like to bump this for awful sounding BT/mic. I have to yell for people to hear me. With rain on the windshield it was unusable. I want to say it was much better when I first had the car and got bad overnight. Is there a service bulletin?

Those of you who who just posted to this thread recently and have not yet found a solution may not have read some of the earlier posts here.

There is a solution...it has to do with replacing the inner and outer seals / gaskets for the driver-sideview mirror (because the mic is in the A-pillar and will pick up noise from wind leaks there). The higher the speed, the worse the sound and less usable the mic, I'll bet.

Probably not a leak you can readily detect with just your ears unless you drive your leaky car, then a properly sealed car back-to-back.

I can confirm that this is the correct fix. Now the question is is there a DIY guide and part list that we can buy to do this at home? Idk about you guys but my warranty is over.

Giri - Does your service advisor still work at your dealership and remember your issue? I too would like my service advisor to speak with him. There's no way the service folks at my dealership could diagnose this issue and they almost never believe anything I say. Thanks!
