Leaving the forum, but not really leaving. Sold my Camaro

Well it was a hard thing to do, I've been thinking about it since spring. My wife didn't want me to sell it since we have a new track opening just over 110 miles away. We actually trailered the car there last weekend and put a for sale sign on it. Had a lot of interest and some taking my phone number. Came home on Saturday Night and go a call from a friend of mine at the LS Fest, he told me someone was interested and found out it was another friend of mine asking for his girlfriend. They all live in Florida close to Tampa, she is a flight nurse and since her boyfriend was racing at the Fest she decided she wanted to race next year and wanted to buy a Camaro. Well to keep it short she bought it, I'm detuning it with the 105 mm pulley on 8 Psi for her to learn to drive a fast car. Its shipping on Friday, money is already in the bank. I'll still be hanging around to give my 2 cents worth, not sure what I'm buying or building next but it won't be to fast and won't load on a trailer. Been on here since Dec of 2015, probably one of the longest members. I'm sure some like me and some don't, as long as most like me I'm happy, can't please everyone.

I really appreciate everything you've brought to the forum. I would love to approximate your build with a 2650, toohighpsi and a low side booster. You've done a great job promoting a simple, reliable, high horsepower combination.

Hope you’ll stick around my friend! You’ve brought a ton of great info and advice to us all over the past several years.

Sorry to see you stepping away from the Camaro world. You paved the way for a lot of future PI builds with that car and I enjoyed reading your posts while you were building it. You built an awesome car and I’m sure the next owner will enjoy it. Keep in touch with us in the forum!

Greg, let me join in the well-deserved song of this choir and thank you for all your excellent contributions. I've been reading your posts since 2017 and learned a lot from all the experience you were always willing to share.

Please stick around some more, if only to check out the people's new builds, often with a Magnuson

I seem to recall you saying that about your camaro before you put a blower on it

Stick around! You've still got lots to offer even if you dont currently own a camaro!

I been a member since 2015 also but just recently started posting and bought my 6gen. Iv seen you post really good info about these cars and it comes as quite the curve ball/shock that you sold the car! I'm wondering why you sold it?
Also, why would anyone not like you You have well documented info/data, what's not to like?

You are a true asset to the forum and would be sorely missed. You always offer your knowledge and experience to others and that is what this is all about. I have learned much about these cars thru the forums by contributors just like you.

Thanks for your help.

Heck I don't even know you, but I feel like I do. Congrats on a quick sell. Please stick around! For sure let us know what you end up with as your next toy.

It was much quicker than I expected, it really helps to let the right people know it's for sale. Cause that was the key to the sale. It won't be a Zl1 or another Camaro.
I have a few on my list, Caddie Ct4v Blackwing, Ats-v Twin turbo, might even do a 17 or 18 short bed Chevy with 2650 Maggie and TooHighPsi Port, Mike and I have already talked about that build, wouldn't even rule out a single turbo instead of a Maggie. A friend of mine that has a F-150 is hitting me up to buy one of those. Don't think I would do that, his truck really hauls ass just with E85 setup.
I'll be trolling around here most everyday, so don't write me off yet.

This is like the 2nd or 3rd time now. Don't worry he will be back after he tries the Cadillac and realizes that he is just a redneck Camaro guy at heart like the rest of us.
