...and apparently never will. C'mon guys! It's a friggin' turn key race car! It has no VIN! You can't drive it on the street!

The reality is the price of one complete car is but a fraction of what it would cost to field a professional race team.
Double it for all the spares. Double it again for the hauler, tools, crew gear. All the paid employees... The multi-million dollar race shop. You could say a Nascar cup car is a roughly a quarter of a mil. To field it for the season...stacks of tens of millions. I talked to the shop manager of a Nationwide team of 4 cars. The leased engines for the season are 1 million per car. The Charlotte NC building they are in...property, building, equipment...lights on ready to build cars...50 million. So when you see the price of one complete race car. That's nice if you were going to put it on display somewhere. To race it... better have millions stacked on millions. |

Well if you have $250k for a new hobby of racing with the big boys then you can it, hire a pit crew. Sell some sponsorship ads to offset the cost, but because you own the car you call the shots. You have a turnkey racer.

I also think it is funny that some can't tell the difference between a road car and an actual race car homologated to compete in GT4 spec series.

Camaro GT4 is over priced. BMW M4 GT4 is cheaper 199K, Cayman GT4 is cheaper 165K, Mustang GT4 is cheaper over 100K but no official price. The Camaro GT4 uses OEM rear brakes. 259K is to much for a Camaro. I know it gets the job done but come on now, 259K? That's just to much in my opinion
