Welcome Darth. Congrats. You will love it. I test drove GT and liked but found camaro more fun to drive. Ford has more space but Camaro better driving experience for me. Nice color pick as well.

Welcome to the forum and the family. I think you will enjoy the new ride. I just picked up a 2LT RS in Red Hot on July Forth. Just a fun car to drive and a great community here on the forum.

Congrats! I also traded in a 15 GTI for my Camaro. I have nothing bad to say about the VW, but the Camaro is a whole different beast. You won't regret it!

I'm not a fanboy of any particular make. I've had way more Mustangs then Camaro's in my time, but the 6th gen spoke to me and the Alpha platform with LT1 simply impressed me more then the mustang PP did. Yes, I drove both and did extensive research before actually going out to drive them. The capabilities of this car were impressive, and I spent a bit more then what I could have gotten a mustang with PP, but this car was calling to me.

It's a good time to be a car enthusiast and I salute the competition between the makes.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Totally enjoying this car! Its combination of looks, driveability, efficiency (almost 33 MPG on the highway yesterday at 75-80 MPH) and fun make me very happy.

Welcome, may I ask why you didn't consider the 6th gen Mustang after having owned so many?
