NPP adjustment in HP Tuners?

The SS Camaro can be adjusted in HP, anyone know if the ZL1 can? I looked under the system tab and don't see Active Exhaust listed. Only thing trying to do is have the valve closed on startup in Tour/Sport modes.

Also, is it true in Sport the valve is open til appx 35mph then closes unless wot?

That is probably because your CCM controller isn't licensed under your MPVI2. You will need to read entire and then license the CCM controller. Then you should be able to see the Active exhaust under the fuel system tab.

Its there, like king said read full/license then change. I cant remember stock settings but i believe its based on gear/rpm. Mines changed. Open full in track.

0 tour, 1 sport, 2 track, and 3 stealth. The others aren’t used.

I copied track to sport. -1 out everything in track (wide open). Changed rpm sport threshold to the same as track. Left tour alone but disabled exhaust rumble in it (closes exhaust on startup).

Also - don't confuse what might appear to be opening percentages. I believe the valves are either commanded to OPEN or CLOSE - not between. The percentages are pedal/throttle (I can't remember which) percentage. That threw me off at first.

Also - if you're trying to get rid of burbling on deceleration or start-up rasp, there are some other setting to change that can alter these characteristics a lot more effective. I say that, because for you, with your mods', I think the NPP adjustments might not be enough. There's cat' light-off and minimum spark table adjustments that can be adjusted to help tame the exhaust note, too.

Yea...The ZL1 works the same way the only difference is your fuel system control module is called a CCM instead of FSCM. I believe the 2016's were the last year to get the FSCM which carried over from the 5th gen Z28.

Some have tried to say different percentages will open or close the valves that amount but that has not been my experience. The valves either open or close. IF you want the valves closed then set those cells to 100. If you want the valves open then set the cells to -1 for both open and closed tables.

This is how I have mine setup:

Touring mode 0: all cells below 4k rpm set to 100 for both open closed. all cells -1 in the 4k rpm colum. That way the exhaust will open if you happen to kick in down because you don't want to run it high in the RPM with the valves closed.

Sport mode 1: all cells -1 down to 7th gear, 8th gear set 100 up to 3k rpm for both open closed.

Track mode 2: all cells -1 for both open closed

Snow/Ice mode 3: all cells 100 for both....

Also set exhaust rumble mode to 0 in touring mode. That will help reduce the "bark" on start up.

You can also do what I did and buy a mild to wild switch. It is controlled by a key fob, and you can turn the valves open all the time or back to stock with the push of a button. Hooks right up to the fuse box, if you don't want to do it thru HP tuners.

So, this morning I bought the 3 credits and licensed the controller. Made a couple changes Assuming the SS and ZL1 are setup the same. Definitely quieter at startup then before. Seems weird they use a close and separate open opposed to one or the other and let the number in the box dictate when it opens or closes.

Hey IneedAZ, not meaning to hijack this thread, but I have looked all over for your post (I think it was you) on quieting down the start up rpm through the cat heat up table. My cats are gone, so I would like my car to start up with minimum rpm. Can you help?
