just picked up a couple carb's for her. 1's a 600cfm holley that I got for free... rebuilding it at the moment. it will be the primary carb when I'm just out cruising. and the other is a holley 750 double pumper.... for the fun times when Im just out bruising.

other than that... I'll tell you that the motor is a solid lifter small block and a 3 speed trans.

rebuilt the carb yesterday... got bored waiting for some of the cleaning solvents to dry....so I added a touch of paint to a few portions

here's some pics.... and this carb had been sitting for a while.

and if anyone wants... I have about 400 pictures covering the teardown and rebuild of this carb... screw by screw, step by step.

I told you before how much I prefer the older one. I told myself that I would have her back after watching her be with someone else for too long.

I've got over 300 pictures from the 600cfm carb rebuild alone....

every clip, screw, bolt, gasket, o-ring, bearing... everything is getting documented. its a good thing I have a 4Tb hard drive for storage...lol

and yes. I will post them all up.... some of them are kind of funny. I'm thinking about making an animated gif out of them

Wow, small world. I remember seeing that car back when I was stationed at Charleston AFB. I think I chatted with you briefly too when I had my white '78 there. This was early 2004. Sound familiar? It's always cool to read about a personal car story. She looks a bit rough now but it definitely has potential. What kind of condition are the floor pans in?
