Yea...... Guilty of that... Started seeing people get 550, 600, 700 etc and said "Ah why not go big or go home"
Plus HPE put out the video of 202.1MPH... That set it in after a friend took his C7 to them spent about the same as I have and only got 600hp. That was for a supercharger and "Hennessey" badges.
So why not spend the same amount, maybe a little more on a fully purpose built high speed demon?
Hopefully this time it'll be ready for Motor4Toys

So I burned thousands of dollars to prove a point.

I really need a wife lmao

Honestly I had a very limited knowledge, I've learned a lot over the past few months on why I needed certain things, why my pistons were made the way they were etc. That was from hanging around at a performance shop in my spare time. It's quite fascinating really!

Awesome build. I had a parts list from crank on up but decided to wait before I got crazy with the car. Respect built all motor cars so much more.

Just do it, go crazy! You won't regret it!

You might bang your head against the wall a few times through out the process though.

Provides a lot more quality time on the road. One less person in the house means two more mods!

Almost done!!! Finally got the block back, everyone is taking a small break for the holidays so it'll be buttoned up soon.

Anyways, here it is all wrapped up in it's glory. I'll get better pictures on a stand and during the install.
Bottom end is completely installed.

Can you tell us more about your piston selection and why you chose those? I think you may be the first person here that's used those Diamond pistons. Thanks for all the good info!

I honestly didn't have a choice with my builder lol. It was more along the lines of quality and craftsmanship. All the reviews I was given from other customers over the years and some machine shops, nobody has had a single issue with them. So I decided it was worth spending the extra money to get the quality of the product, an extra $1,000 was worth it to me vs spending another $2,000+ on replacing a piston if one broke.

Then after having a discussion with one of the gentlemen from Diamond Pistons we decided to have them custom made due to the amount of boost and cam. Theoretically they should take whatever abuse I decide to throw at them!

Here's the ACS front splitter with the 6LE designs splitter. They don't sit flush at all, so had to be a little creative for when I mount it.

It'll probably go on the car sometime tomorrow or Friday since I plan on baking my headlights to install the Oracle LED DRL's at the same time. Then I'll measure out a couple points for Splitter rods for better support at higher speeds.

Thank you!

It's been fun so far, I'll have to update the first couple of post in here to give a better understanding vs going through the pages lol. Frustrating, but I can see the finish line
