My Summit White 1LE

She is currently unnamed as I am still getting used to her quirks. I sold my 2014 5.0 Mustang in June in hopes of picking up a 1LE before Christmas. Mission accomplished!

Bye Bye 5.0. Missed you for about 1 day!

Picked the car up on 12/16/16

Started off as a bone stock 2017 Camaro SS 1LE with the optional PDR.

- After a few days I went ahead and replaced the gold bowties with black bowties and installed the big worm blackout kit.
- Got the windows tinted at 20% all the way around.
- Installed Diode Dynamics Reverse lights, license plate lights and trunk lighting.
- Removed the front SS grill emblem as well as the rear bumper SS emblem. It looks much cleaner.
- Got a nice 1LE real carbon fiber plate frame. Currently its the only visual 1LE representation on the car. As you can see I am getting serious about weight reduction

Added the GM black tail lamps. Absolutely love the lights. They look absolutely sinister and work so well with the black 1LE blade spoiler and the big worm blackout kit.

January 2017---------------

- Added the Rotofab intake with sound tube delete.
- Installed the Mishimoto catch can well.
- Put the black leather/white stitching knee pads in the car.
- Added factory 1LE floor mats. Thanks to that GM Parts Guy for these gems.
I think I am done with visual mods for the time being. Outside of finding some satin black side rockers and possibly a wickerbill. Those are both TBD

Got the ARH LT Headers installed 1 7/8th w/ Cats (Long System) paired with some Borla S-Types W/ NPP. Here are some sound videos.

March 2017 ------------
Finally got the wicker bill installed. Its made by ZL1 Addons for the Gen6 blade spoiler. This is not the stealth version its a little bit shorter. I was kinda iffy on it when I installed it but its been awhile now and im really digging the look. Here are some more pictures.

Install was pretty easy. Once I figured out how to work the rivnut tool, it took about an hour. Measure 15 times and drill once. Here are some pictures and a video...

April 2017 -----------
Go some ZL1 side rockers painted and went ahead and installed them myself this week. Install wasnt too terrible just lots of pesky clips, you absolutely need the right tools or the job is next to impossible. The body shop that painted them did an excellant job matching the satin black color. Overall this is possibly my favorite mod to date. The car flows so much better with the side skirts.

Also got a awesome deal through amazon on a new Bell Helmet. First track day in this car scheduled for May 27th.

The car should be nice and sorted out before track season starts back up. I got some brake pads on order and fluid waiting to go into the car. Im finding that the longer I own this car, the more I fall in love with it. It truely is a kick in the ass to drive. Thanks for checking out my 1LE!

Nick

Did you add some tint around the tail lights? I havent seen any kits with that black border...

also since you will be tracking... have you considered any lighter weight wheels, perhaps at 19" ( a few rotary forged out there weighing 22-23 lbs per corner... saving yourself a significant amount of unsprung wieght from the 29-30 ls per corner stock...
