Body Damage Covered By Track Warranty

I caught myself a Charlotte Stripe last Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It's a surface scratch on the right rear fender and it barely popped the fender out.

My question is, will the track warranty cover this? I've read where engine/trans/suspension etc. Is covered by the track warranty but nothing about minor body Damage because if it does, I want my dealership to fix it since my right front tire blew on the way home and my left front tire is corded and I couldn't see any initial right front wheel damage so it would be nice to fix everything at once

Here is a couple of pics of the fender and a link to the video (start at 10:22) I nuked the entry and wheelhopped the car

SERIOUSLY doubt they will cover physical damage.

I didn't even ask after I dropped a wheel and trashed the subframe brace under the front of the car, I just bought the parts and replaced.

Bummer, but you've got to pay (at least some) to play.

They will fix mechanical damage to engine/tranny as long as not the result of mechanical overrev is my understanding.

They might fix body damage if it was the result of a wheel, suspension, etc. failure that put you in the wall or something but I don't know that anyone has tested that theory.

I'm sorry... You want to know if the track warranty will cover you over cooking it into a corner and slapping the wall? Ummm no. They'll laugh you out of the dealership I believe.

Damn that looked like that was gonna be real bad. Glad you were able to save it and minimize the damage.

Never forget the three rules of racing...

Testing the limits of the track warranty, I can live if I have to pay for the body Damage but I never came across anything in months of on and on research about it so I was curious.

My main thing now is the warranty covering the blow right front tire, corded left tire and possible right front wheel damage while on the drive home

Front Tires were fine when I left the track and showed no signs of cording.

Both front tires were new as of June 29 with one track day (again at Charlotte last month) before last Friday.

My original set lasted two track days and plus 13 months of daily driving.

LOL I abused and ran out of talent with my car on the track and want my GM warranty, which is meant to cover mechanical issues to fix the tires and bodywork I damaged!

This is either a joke or you were born and raised in la la land.

For real? Warranty is used to repair/replace stuff due to manufacturer defects and/or failures caused by such defects. The track warranty just means that tracking your car doesn't void the warranty when you follow the guidelines in the manual for tracking your car.

Warranty won't cover damage from a collision or failure to maintain a wear item. Both of these are user errors, not manufacturer defects...
