Buy or Wait

So I was wondering when would be the best time to buy the Camaro between now and early 2018. I have read mixed advice on getting it now or wait till end of the year. I'm either looking for a used 2016 1SS or a 2017 RS. Budget is around 30K.

used car prices going up? rentals are going up... but used car dealerships should be flooded with all these "slightly water damaged" cars that will come to market once the insurance companies auction them off after these storms are over. Plenty that wont even tell you that they're flood damaged.

Pay attention to where your car is coming from if you can get any documentation on where it was previously registered and I'd not buy anything from the south east in the next year.

I saw some great discounts last month so I bought new. I got $5250 off a new Camaro (cash discount, post secondary graduate within 4 years discount, and visa discount). Plus a dealer discount to take off the dealer book fee. Canadian dollars.
There are some very good deals out there to be made...Have you looked at the for sale section on this site???Anyway like above get your money right and get exactly what you want...

Never really thought about it, but I wonder with all the vehicles that will be lost due to the hurricanes, will it soon be a buyer's or seller's market...

If the market gets flooded with these cars wouldn't supply and demand cause cheaper prices?

You are in VA, so less of an issue for you, but I would definitely buy now. I waffled on buying in the fall, and when spring came around, I was bitten bad by the bug and ended up with a so-so deal, instead of some of the screamin deals I read about on here.

I'd say buying a car online or sight unseen is a bad idea for the foreseeable future. Don't ever trust where the vehicle is titled if you're dealing with an unknown seller (dealer or private). A careful visual inspection is the the only way to tell.
