Just picked up my new ZL1!
After a 9-month wait, the ZL1 I ordered is finally in my garage.
Lucky I didn’t have to pay the new $3,900 charge or any markups (dealer was going to ask for a $10k markup) and got a very solid trade-in deal for my BMW M340i. Will have to wait for the microchips (seats/parking sensors) but everything else is working perfectly well. Will probably be coming in with a few questions, such as: can I make the car not honk at me for leaving the keys inside? |

340i to a zl1 is a massive jump
bmw is planned obsolescence .

The $3900 price hike is for 2023 not 2022.

Congrats! Was your car stuck in Lansing, MI with everyone else or did it come right to Austin from the plant? My car is to be delivered to Dallas so am surprised a new car made it that far south already.
