I came down to NYC for a week of vacation and I watched the Macy's sparkle show tonight. If I get time maybe I'll upload my vid, but I'm sure there are tons on youtube for it by now.
PS-is it sad that I'm on vacation in NYC and one of the first sites I check when I get back to the hotel is this one??? |

^I only wish I had computer access while I was in Chicago. Sure, I could have used the hotels computers.................for...............ready for this???.........5 bucks every 15 minutes. Dude....I would have owed them $60 in one night by the time I decided to log off....and that would have been ONLY one night. Crap....a beer from the hotel bar cost $8.27 after tax....and that's a single bottle of Bud Lite. But, sorry to get off topic.
Back on topic. Rained all day here...no one shooting off fireworks. Work was pretty darn easy. |

Yup, that's more than enough for a six pack of decent beer.
Even at an inexpensive bar or restaurant, a beer is likely to be $4 to $6. The only reason I can think of for such a huge markup is that people are willing to pay it.
