I don't think the GT500s Recaros are even heated/cooled... at least I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere.

And... that doesn't take into account discounts on the ZL1 and gouging (ADM) on the GT500. The actual difference driving it out the door is probably around $25,000+ in the real world.

It may be a beast, but you certainly pay for the performance...
Ford guys that post here, NEVER consider price paid, LOL.
You are 100% correct. 25k price difference.

25k Price difference? I must be really bad in math but going by the Chevy website a base ZL1 A10 is listed at $66,190.00, and the Ford website the Base GT500 is listed as $73,995.00. Is this now some new math where $73,995.00 - $66,190.00 = $25,000.00?

Yet again, you can't even get it right when you're trying to compare apples and oranges...

ZL1 A10 base price is $64590 for 2020.

Now, if you want to participate in the conversation, go read post #5517, because what we're talking about is comparably equipped cars, and real world prices.

Everything? Without direct corroborating evidence? He said, she said, I heard, I believe, I think...

Really enjoyed the Mustang boy math/reasoning when the SS was more expensive for 2016 AND they'd bring up how nice of discounts they could get on the GT. I CAN MOD THE GT FOR LESS THE PRICE DIFFERENCE.

How is saying it costs even more to get into a GT500 now any different due to ADM?

Personally, I don't care to discuss that and I like to go off of MSRP. GT500 is still a good chunk more, so I find it silly the Mustang boys talk down the price difference when they were all about price difference when it was GT vs SS.

The gymnastics with Ferdies is out of this world.

Gee, and what happens when we take the gas guzzler tax out... $64590... the number I quoted.

GT500 at $73995 DOESN'T INCLUDE GAS GUZZLER TAX.

Like I said before...

I stand by my point: comparably equipped, GT500 is ~ $11.5k more than ZL1 at sticker. Real world buyers will be paying much more than that.

We don't pay MSRP, I live in the REAL world, I go by what comes out of my pocket. 59k plus tax came out of my pocket. so yes, its 25k

From what I've tried, it's either 75.6k or 77k BEFORE gas guzzler tax. Same old ford shenanigans, you can either get recaro seats, or you get the standard seats, then have to add heating and cooling/ power adjustable/ memory settings. You can't get the recaros with anything the zl1 has standard. May be a deal breaker to some, others may not care. And again before adm, doesnt include handling package or anything else other than the seats. Ford fans WILL NOT remove the cover over their eyes when talking price, most of us have noticed and its beating a dead horse at this point. Look at new moons response, you're willing to add the gas guzzler tax to the zl1 but the gt500 price DOES NOT INCLUDE gas guzzler tax as already stated by Rodan.
They also WILL NOT admit Adm's on these cars or say they will go away. Seems to me they do not deal in real world numbers, some fantasy world I guess.
Its like they're purposefully trying to mislead us????
