New oil filter ####

Hi all,

Just got my 500 mile break-in oil change done at great dealership l’ve used for a long time. They are now sourcing replacement fluids and filters by the VIN. Oil matches correctly as well as trans and rear end fluid to my old ‘18 ZLE. But the filter now calls for a GM # 19419226. As best l can tell that crosses to a PF64F.

All seems well but my oil pressure is now about 5-6 PSI higher than the factory oil and filter combo. It’s running at about 45-47 PSI per the factory gauge. The factory filter/oil was about 42-45, both at a steady cruise of about 2000 rpm. Either way the pressures are better/higher than my old ZLE. That car ran about 36-38 PSI at the same speed. I was always worried about the oil pressure on that car. I don’t know if it ever had the oil pump failure some’18’s



Does anyone have any info on this new filter??

Filter is exactly the same. The F just means it came from a bulk pack of 12. Dealers get them in boxes like this (dozen)
