WWYD? Break in period...
I wasn't able to get my car in for its first LOF until about 1,200 miles. I'm now just over 1,500 which would be the 2nd LOF and rear diff fluid change. Should I do the 2nd LOF and change the diff fluid now? Or wait a few hundred more miles? Does it really matter? I'm not going to hard-core track it any time soon. But yes, I will get it there!! It'll prob see a drag strip before an actual track day. But I'm not a baby-it type of driver on the road either.

Everyone sees this different but I would not change the oil after only 300 miles. I didn't do the first oil change til around 2500 miles and then went to following the oil monitor percentage and change it at around 10-15%. I have six years and 36000 miles on it and never have to add any oil between changes. In fact the dipstick never drops below full. I didn't change the tranny and rear diff fluids until 20K. The fluids removed looked clean. I do not granny drive the car.
Now when you do start running at the strip and/or track I would say that more frequent fluid changes are called for.

Your first engine oil change at 1200 will have gotten most of the glitter out. At this point, I would do the diff oil and for the engine oil just follow the Oil Life Monitor and the track prep guide as appropriate.

I'd do what Gunkk recommended as well. You want the diff oil changed, but doing the engine oil again at this point would be a waste of money.
