Blackheart Crush Delete Pipe Exhaust System

I want to make my car louder, but, Iím not ready to replace my stock NPP.
To those that have this kit, did it make the exhaust louder? If so, how much? Was there any HP gains? What about clearance, is there any trouble going over speed bumps?

Thanks

Your better off removing the secondary cats if you want more noise

Crush removal has shown on dyno does nothing for power... maybe helps w certain resonant noise frequencies.

You maybe right, it may quiet down some noise, I also believe it’s there for clearance. However, I’m asking anyone that has this kit for their feedback, thanks.

Again, not looking to drop 2K on exhaust. Just asking those that have this set up, what feed back, or thoughts on this kit? Thanks

My old LS3 with stock NPP was way louder, than my LT1 with stock NPP. Just looking to gain some loudness without dropping 2K right now, for now $200 is my limit, this kit is $160. I’m thinking Corsa NPP, maybe later if this route doesn’t provide results.

I believe crush removal removes the afm valves on a auto car. Those hurt flow so would show gains

The crush delete pipes don't do anything for power and I doubt would affect the sound at all.

Considering you are in Commie-fornia, your options are extremely limited.

I found that when I installed a Rotofab intake, it may the exhaust louder in all modes. You could try installing the Chevy Performance intake as it is CARB certified: https://www.chevrolet.com/performanc...6camaro/intake

Only other thing I can think of is for you to pull the fuse for the NPP exhaust so that the valve are fully open in all modes.

Its there for suspension, structual clearance on convertibles only. On a coupe there is absolutely no clearance issues. BTW, like another member mentioned, the secondary cats are not monitored and removing them you get a nice exhaust note change. Just be smart when removing them so you can always reinstall them.

The 3 inch crush delete pipes hang at the same height above the ground as the stock crushed pipes. The crushed area was for convertible structural clearance above the pipes which doesnt exist on coupes so the actual pipe to ground clearance is the same. Been there , done that on two 6th gens. And as mentioned, on auto trans cars, those pipes delete the AFM valves allowing more flow and possibly changing the exhaust note slightly along with the removal of the crushed area.

Note They only fit M6 cars far as slip on and clamp. I initially bought them to remove the AFM valve/crush section on my A8 car when I was installing a Corsa NPP axle back since it has FI... the AFM valve shrinks down around 2 1/4". Needless to say they didn't work and I ended up buying a Borla 60608 x pipe. The section where the AFM valves are located on a A8/A10 exhaust is angled a little different vs M6. If you have a M6 then you are fine but I don't think it does anything for sound...nor will it do anything for power on a stock car and even modded unless you are making some power..

It's either remove the secondary cats or save up for an axleback. With you wanting to stay stock and living in California your options are limited. You could have your local muffler shop do a delete but that would sound terrible. Regardless which way you go you're not going to gain any power.
