Normal for launch control?
I tried out launch control on my 2020 A10 yesterday, brake pedal mashed to the floor, gas pedal to the floor, RPMs were holding steady and when removing my foot from the brake there was a pretty decent lag before it "launched" and on a couple of my runs it seemed to be confused as to what gear it should be shifting to next if that makes any sense.....is this normal for launch control on these cars?

The times I've used it, the car shifts fine and I don't remember any lag.
By the way, you're better off launching without launch control. The old school method has been proven to be better. |

Launch control in this car is not what you are expecting!

Clearly.......so it's safe to assume there isn't anything wrong with my car, just the way launch control is on these things?

Just hit the gas gradually and quick, don't floor it immediately, bit difficult but you need to practice. Don't waste your time with the "launch control" its garbage!. These cars are killers on a rolling start but not from still. I had the lag too with some of the settings

I was told it’s the stall converter when that happens. I usually set the launch Rpm at the max of 2600 then brake to that and not any more
