Stock exhaust question on the ss

I got a quick question about the stock exhaust on the gen 6 SS


What are those?

Thanks I figured.

I had my rear bumper fixed and I think the dealership took of the exhaust to fix the dent behind the bumper and I got a small exhaust leak right there. Just wanted to confirm it before I ask if they did drop it then tell them to fix it it was fine before they fixed the bumper.

Fwiw, I have man handled those things over the years and they never leaked on me. Not saying it’s not possible, tho. The driver side connection gasket can’t be slapped together half assed or I would think it would easily leak. That would be the first place I would look.

I'm just gonna call them and tell them. I'm pretty sure it's coming from that on one side. It was a dealership that did it so they should take care of it. If not I'll fix it in the summer. It's just slightly annoying and I don't have jack stands or anything because my driveway is on an angle lol. Just sucks I'll be without a car for a day.

I think you found the smallest exhaust pic on the internet, here's a better one

I agree though, have seen or heard of the joints leaking
