Yes. Best ET is 11.70 and best trap is a pinch under 125 MPH if I recall. They still can’t leave for a damn with the factory Torque Management in the tune. Matter of fact as cwebster found it, they might just be faster down the 1/4 stock (until you get a tune anyways). With the additional power, it makes the TQ management kick in sooner and harder and there is more of it than the stock computer is expecting. I can basically side step the clutch at 4K with my foot to the floor on Nitto DR’s and cut a 2.0ft. As cwebster found out running a 26” tall tire can trick the computer into “allowing” you to run a better 60ft.

Having said that I’m not bothered by this as I knew to expect it. I’ve also been doing way more track days than drag racing over the last few years anyways. After I do the top end and oil pump/tune I’ll head back to the 1/4 track and collect my 10 second slip.

Agree that extra power seems to make the computer in the M6 cars 'madder', if you will. Have seen an M6 ZL1 on Mickeys, blower upgrade yadayada, over 800rwhp. Best that I saw for it was 11.0@135.9, in other words, well off what it should run. Sorry I cannot recall the splits from his timeslip, but that kind of mph only getting an 11.0 tells me that the 330 was way off. I have watched a modded SS/2300 Magnuson (539rwhp) M6 on Mickeys and there was a noticeable hitch a short ways out from the line, the infamous M6 bog. This car went 11.3@124, so not as far off expected performance as the 800+ was, which is why I agree with your sentiment that more power seen by the computer (via MAF I will add) seems to make it even madder. Also explains why an M6 with nitrous does so well, because the computer does not know how much power it's actually making, since the extra air is NOT going through the MAF, it's injected after the throttle. Saw an M6 SS/nitrous on Mickeys that ran 10.8@128 for example. Note how it's time is much closer to expected relative to the mph, than the blower cars were.

So, how are these mods holding up after a couple of years of use?

Just bought a M6 2022 ZL1 and live in CA :(

Would like to do a ported TB, CAI, and Cat Back without tuning it. Not number chasing, but would like to know I'm not going to spend $3k+ just for sound

Great! Been doing quite a few HDPE's/SCCA TNIA events and so on the past few years. Car has been running great, zero issues.

Correct and correct. I can literally side step the clutch at 4K on drag radials and it'll damn near stall. The stock tune just murders the car on launches. I've trapped as high as 125.x. Sounds absurd for a car with that much HP, but it's just a turd in the 330'. After I do the oil pump/cam/tune it'll be a 10 second car in it's sleep.

Check out this thread about the M6 dragstrip problems, IMO you'll want to make sure that your tuner addresses this: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=603315
