Flowmaster resonator delete X pipe
Anyone using it with the factory NPP catback?

I didn't have it with the stock npp. however I did have it with Flowmaster's NPP and the stock headers and I absolutely loved the sound. The sound was great I have since added headers and its not as nice of a tone.
It can definitely mate up to the stock npp but if you can I would recommend pairing it with flowmaster npp in my opinion it sounds really good has a nice deep tone it has the biggest sound difference with the valves closed vs open its crazy how much it quiets down mine.

I was looking for a good way to replace the resonators since my local guy won’t do it as they are cats. Thanks a bunch. I did like the sound of the Flowmaster npp, just rather spend that money on hp producing parts. I do remember not loving the sound after I did catted 2” TSP lts on my 2017. It lost so much deep bass sound.

The only part of the exhaust that will gain power on these cars is from the primary cats forward. Changing anything from the secondaries back is for sound only.

I was going for sound, I may just go back with catted longtubes, although I didn’t love the more high pitched sound change.

My first install was the flowmaster axleback NPP exhaust (817746). I had no problems and sounded great. I wanted more sound, so I went with Flowmaster 81084 X-pipe. Once I got rid of the stock X-pipe and replaced it with 81084, weird vibrations and rattles started showing up. Very hard to pinpoint where they are coming from. If I could do it again, I would leave the X-pipe stock.

Thanks, I wondered if it was a waste buying TSP catted lt’s or with their x. I will go with just the catted headers and stock x. Thanks. That might have been what I didn’t like about the sound. I just thought there had to be a gain going with their catted x.

I went with the Corsa X pipe (14788) to go along with my Flowmaster axleback (817746) very Happy with the results. Exhaust tone is deeper and slightly louder.
