Window rolls up.... then right back down...

I am having so many silly little issues with this car... IF the answer is to pull the negative cable for a while then that is the cure for all things electrical lol....

When i roll up the passenger window with the "auto" up click on the button, it goes up, then it comes right back down with out fail. If i just manually hold the up switch without the "auto" click, i can get it to stay.

is there a relearn for these windows? or pull negative cable??

The reason the negative cable was so popular is because with a lot of software is reset when power is taken away and resupplied, like ctrl-alt-del on a computer So yup, try that.

Also watch it very carefully as it goes up, when it reverses, the system is thinking it hit something like a kids arm or something in the window, maybe that channel the glass is in is binding.....

My passenger side one did the same thing, I found some "re-indexing procedure" for them online, and that worked.

Happened to me.. passenger won't go all the way up after closing door.

Index it
-turn the ignition on but do not start
-roll the window all the way up
-hold the button up for 3 sec

update...

this thing was way wacky. it would drop down an inch when the door was opened then closed, it would STOP rolling up altogether if i played with it too much. It would function as it should with door open only....

Pulled negative cable overnight, no change.
Reprogrammed / indexed it using all methods I've found on the site. no change.

Ended up taking it to the dealer where they did the manual reprogram with no luck. Made an appointment. The solution that they gave me was that they needed to completely start the "program" from scratch using a tech tool. All is well now...

The dealer had to hook it up to their equipment and reprogram it.

When it happens to my driver side window, I open the door and raise the window, then close the door. It stays shut.
