Lug nuts

I have 2 sets of wheels and tires and swap my wheels whenever I go to the track. Whenever I take the lug nuts off they always get stuck in my 22mm socket and I can never figure out why. I bought a new 22mm the other day but they still got stuck. Has anyone else experienced this and is anyone using different lug nuts on there Z?

Are the lugs' edges rolled? If so, the lugs themselves are the issue.

I have no issue with mine

Just a thought: Are you using a six point socket ? If you are using a 12point socket, that is most likely the cause of your problem.

I’m using a 6 pt socket and yes the edges are starting to get rolled. I feel like they were always tough to get out of the socket from the first time I swapped wheels. At this point I want to replace my lug nuts and wanted to know if someone has a suggestion on a replacement lug nut?

Mine do it too but there's a trick if you're using an impact that I do when you first initially break loose the lug nut let off of the impact before the nut is completely loose off of the stud just move your impact a little enough to break the bind and then finish taking off the lug nut with the impact after you've done this enough it's not even noticeable that you're even doing it

Rocket Racing makes a good durable steel/chrome standard closed lug nut. Priced well too. Used them on other cars. Look into them on summit/jegs.

These are 3/4" socket size... due to the fact they dont have a casing on them like the GM lugs

Just check the base angle of the aftermarket lugs compared to the oem. You sure don't want one that the seat recesses too deep into the rim. I know i need some
