I’ve been using the Autozone Duralast batteries in all my cars for many years. If there’s ever a problem, Autozone keeps the purchase on file so you never need the receipt. In my experience they fail pretty close to the rated lifespan. Sometimes they fail a month or two prior and Autozone gives you a small pro-rate but usually they go a year or two past. If they do fail early, they do a complete replacement if it’s in the replacement window.

Replaced my original battery earlier this month with the AC Delco 48AGM also. After reading some of the bad experiences buying this battery on Amazon, I spent a few extra $$ and bought it locally. I probably could have stayed with the original battery a little longer, but I recently had a hot start-slow crank issue that required a jump.

Nope, you did the right thing. You were fortunate to be in a position to get a jump. It seems these batteries give you a few slow start warnings before leaving you stuck.

AC Delco 48AGM

Probably wasn't necessary at the time, but I didn't have my tender yet.

I've used Diehard Gold battery's in all my cars for the last 50 years or so.

6 years and about 60k miles my original was still cranking good so it was a winner. Went with Another OEM instead of waiting for it to fail.
