I prefer the bow ties too but to each his own is what I say! I will say this though, the black bow ties look much better than the gold ones in my opinion.

I'm with those who think the car is naked without the badges. These are well positioned (except the 2019 front) and tastefully designed, especially the black bowties and dark gray SS badges. Just my opinion, of course.

I mainly posted the pics for those that are considering it and wanted to see pics. I found some but they took a decent search. I’ve always used this site for research and figured others might too.

Glad those of you who don’t like it are able to tell me so, that’s the beauty of a forum. Maybe I should have done a poll.

How dare I call it a mod though, thanks for a more precise definition. When I switch to DD side markers I’ll be sure to tell myself it’s an “aftermarket replacement of OEM parts”

Keep on modding your Camaro because it’s your car and that’s what it’s all about!

Yup, agree with you there in regards to my 2019 front end. That’s why I put my front license plate in the center spot to hide that ugly flow-tie cut into the bumper. I still removed the SS emblem on the front grill. The Vet plates help with the police, got off a few tickets but in Oregon a State trooper got me doing 110 mph and reduced it to 76 mph to avoid a big ticket and possible impoundment. There’s the pull over pic. LOL. Sorry off topic OP. ( in my 2016 Camaro - the original Blackbeast.). BTW OP a mods a mod in my books no matter what you do.

You have to be aware of the cancel culture philosophy these days. Individualism is no longer acceptable to many. Continue to do what makes you happy.

Not sure what's with the negative waves. It's a mod, and nothing wrong with subtle customizing.

I got a NGM body-color bow tie from River City Creations for my 2016 RS. I thought this looked a lot better than the gold one. (And I've never missed the back bow tie since taking that off!)

To each their own with their car. But I never understood why people take a car as awesome as this and then remove the badges instead of displaying them proudly. Here I am wishing the "ZL1" emblems on my Camaro were actually bigger and in more places.
I guess the Forum owner need to remove this section then. Or rename it!

No-freaking-body is trying to cancel anyone here. OP posted his mod, we told him what we think, end of story.

Nobody even criticized him or had any harsh words for him, it's just that there are some who prefer the badges and a post w/pics about a badge delete prompted them (us) to comment, plus some don't consider esthetic mods "real mods", which is fair enough even though I disagree with that categorization. It's all good.
We are actually having a civilized discussion about something very inconsequential, yet mildly controversial. I like it, it's polar opposite of the cancel culture BS

I’m kinda neutral about it either way, well compared to the flow tie, didn’t really care for it on my SS.

I would gather many people wouldn’t even know what the car was without the badges.

some of the more traditional mods like headers, aftermarket wheels, etc. can get pretty spendy on top of a new car payment.being a recently retired guy married to a cheapskate i settled for carbon fiber inlays on the bowties.
