Looking for shop in San Diego to Hydro Dip car parts

Anyone know of a place n San Diego that does a good job Hydro Dipping car parts in SD? I'm thinking of getting a carbon fiber dip done for my V6 engine cover.

I was looking at it, and there's too many recesses for a vinyl wrap to look good. IE: oil fill recess and pocket for retaining bolt.

If you find one, then I’m interested in getting the LT1 engine covers done as well.

Check out hyrdodipconcepts on Instagram. He is going to do an American flag with red carbon sides for me. I’ll share photos in about 2 weeks as he has to order print. He has some corvette covers and they are sick!

Hey, thanks for the tip. I saw some of his work. I need to reach out to him this weekend and see what he can do.

Don’t copy me! J/K you could probably get your stuff done before mine since he has to order the American flag print.

I am thinking of letting him tear up my raptor interior and get some pieces done in CF. He said it should match up pretty well with the OEM CF. It doesn’t have the depth, but does look 3D. The flag cover has some small bubbles, but the cf looks good. He had issues with the Flag wrap. I saw a Benz cover he just did that is forged CF and it looks crazy. I can’t wait to see your creation.

If he does what I ask him, It'll look killer... Had to explain it to him 5 times so....lets see.

He said your flag film would be extremely difficult to work with. (talked to him in person the same day he ordered it) Sounds like he did a good job.

No one else has a cool V6 cover. If he pulls it off, he'd get a lot of business..

You gonna get more done? I also liked the dipped bar he did for you...

The raptor will probably be done next. The engine cover can’t be done since it is made of foam. Not sure what Ford was thinking, but maybe for sound? Yeah I used my Chevy points to get the free strut bar and it just looked like plain aluminum. I just dropped it off to see what he could do. I’m happy with everything and really makes the engine bay pop. If I demolish my splitter, then definitely have him do a CF wrap. The interior is pretty nice in the Camaro, but the raptor has a lot of plastics that could use a wrap.

Finally Done

Well, I finally got them done. I also changed out the bowtie for the legacy Camaro emblem.

How does the hydro dip hold up to the hot temps of the engine bay etc.?

That looks great, how the hell do they do that, that particular design looks very complicated to dip...
