SOLVED: Metallic click clank like noise going into 1st and reverse

Haven't really driven car much in last year.. yay covid, but as I use car more and more, the clicking (click clank, click) noise when getting going in 1st and especially prevelant revsing up driveway (which has slight ramp) the rear end making all sorts of click clank noises and torque is applied to go up the hill.

The noise almost sounds crunchy.

It's in the rear end, wheels, brakes, driveline somewhere. I should stick a gopro under there to try to pin point.

Last year was in dealer for same noise "torque axle nuts" and "oh its your aftermarket wheels, they must be slipping on the hub" didn't believe it, swapped to stock wheels - same problem, same noise.

Is there rubber driveshaft isolator donuts like on beemers that fails?

Brake pads that are slapping against the caliper?

Haven't taken anything apart yet to inspect - looking for some direction.

I'll have to see if it makes difference when cold as most of times i am backing up the driveway, the car is HOT.

First impression is drive shaft not engaging or dis-engaging properly.

I had this issue on one of my older cars (not camaro), but mine was more of a vibration and then bang, like a neutral slam, rpm's rev'd up, then lunging and slamming into gear, even sometimes spinning the wheels with low steady pressure on the gas pedal. It happened more during cold weather, and at stop lights in particular with slow steady pedal and acceleration.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, I'm really not a car guru. I only know by what I have experienced.

Apparently it was a front rear control arm. Replaced. Part No. 23317368

Appears to have resolved that problem.

Nope.. its back. Metallic clank when rolling forward or reverse.

I'll have to strap a camera underneath to try to find the source.
