New to "Car Ordering" - Too late for 2020 ZL1 1LE Shock Yellow?

Never ordered a car before, have no idea what the process is like. Initial research says dealers only have a limited allocation to order ZL1 1LEs. Am I too late to order a 2020 ZL1 1LE in Shock Yellow? Just called my closest dealer and they said if I want one, it would have to be a 2021.

Ask Becky for sure, but if I were you, I'd actually want to order a 2021. It's a newer model year with no major changes to be expected, so there is always a good chance of fixes to known issues, plus the newer the MY, the better your resale value will be at a fixed point (in case you decide to sell the car later, not saying it won't be a forever-keeper )

Excellent, thanks for the response!

So I was a little worried they would do the new facelift on the 2021 model of the ZL1 1LE rather than keep the current styling since its many years old at this point. That's why I wanted to get a 2020 order in ASAP. Has there been any official word that the 2021 ZL1 1LE body will remain the same as the prior years?

I'm shopping a shock LT1 and they are still 2020's. That dealer might not have allocation, or they aren't building ZL1's anymore.

2020 production orders are supposed to stop in 22 days.
