Normal, the high pitch hum is coming from the HID ballasts. In comparison, both LED and halogen headlights are completely quiet.

Did you take off the corners of your rear spoiler? I saw pics of another 1LE at a dealer like that during my search and couldn't figure out if they just forgot to put them on or if it's a different option.

Dont think that is his car. The corners are on his car in the original pics. That looks to be a pic before the corners were installed or someone removed them. Not an official option that I know of but I'm sure you can remove them fairly easily. I wouldn't. Looks incomplete.

I agree. The spoiler just abruptly ends at the edge of the trunk. It doesn't flow with the car.

That is my car. The end caps were never installed by the dealer, along with some other PDI stuff they screwed up. I left them off after hearing the top speed of the car is 2.3 mph higher without them. (JK)

I will install them myself, because the dealer probably would mount them to the taillights.

I just haven't had time. They peel'n'stick on, after some careful prep work; there's even a plastic spacer included to use between the caps and the spoiler ends to make sure you get them mounted right.

The ends of the trunk-mounted portion of the spoiler are finished, so it looks OK, and not one person until now has mentioned the ends missing.

This way, the car has more of a retro look, 40 or 50 years ago when the spoilers on some cars were only as wide as the trunk lid (or were extra wide and hung over the fenders without being attached to the trunk lid, like on the '67 Z/28).

If I got a 1LE for the suspension setup; first thing I'd do is take the wrap off. To me it looks like the hood has been replaced and is finished in primer.

If you're tinting the windows, you probably should consider some amount of XPEL protection film. The window tint guy near me is also an authorized Xpel installer, and for $100, he replaced the small factory PPF pieces in front of the rear wheels with bigger pieces that cover the rear of the rocker panel up to the panel seam. That area gets peppered otherwise.

Thanks! The windows is definitely one of my first things I need to invest in. I'll look into the XPEL as well
