ZL1 Add Ons Deluxe Rock Guards.

I also threw on some side skirts for extra protection. I went with these from RPI and had them painted to match the splitter and mirrors.

Other forum members seem to rave about the ACS side skirts too but they are a bit more expensive.

The fronts are a must. Without the rears, you will get a little rash on the rear bumper where it curves inside the wheel well. The rear rock guards don't look as nice tho. However, I went with both.

Yep pretty much the technique
On my Vette i had a gas pedal extension to allow just that. Makes it much easier without having to flex one's hip and avoids chiro bills lol!

I did front and back just to balance out the look more than anything.

Might want to look into the ZL1addons bolt on lift pads for putting the car up in the air.
Aluminum blocks that bolt on to the pinch weld to protect the rocker panels, and prevent unwanted bending of the pinch welds.

I'm thinking 50% tint on the sides, 35% tint for the back window and nothing on the windshield.

I'm trying to decide between Llumar, which will cost $159 for the car (seems very inexpensive to me) or 3M Crystalline, which I haven't priced yet. Anyone know whether the 3M is significantly better?

Installed front and back ZL1 Addons rock guards. Very easy to do and look great. I didn't take the rear tires off, I just used a very short Phillips head screwdriver. I'll post pics shortly!
