Your dealership has to initiate it (Ask your salesman). You only get them if the car is purchased brand new I believe. Hare Chevrolet I'm assuming?? I received like 20,000 or so points when I bought my car from them. My salesman told me about it.

Points? You have 20k? Aren’t these points good for a smaller cash value and good on accessories?

The gm card is actual $. Like stated the dealer calls in to access your account then you sign authorizing them to use this savings.

I believe 20k points is a $100 value.

^This. I think after signing up with OnStar and everything else associated with getting the new car I had somewhere between 22-25,000 reward points. I cashed them out and used them help pay for the OEM dark taillights. Think I had like $150 off or somewhere around there.

You should have gotten a limited offer for 20,000 points. I missed mine by 1 day, oh well.
