Smallest Rims I can put on? & best tire?

Can't seem to find the answer but what's the smallest rim I can go with before having to change the brakes on my SS? Also what the best tire out there for a street/Drag radial? Been looking at M/T S/S tires but the nitto NT555r is more in my price range as of right now. Any other tires you recommend?

Some 17s will fit. It requires the roller skates to be cut off the front brake pads or pads changed to ones without them. I'm currently running racestar recluse 17x7 in front and 17x10.5 in the rear and I'm lowered 1" with stock lcas. The mt et street ss are going to be better at the strip than the nittos but they wont last as long with a lot of street driving.

18s is the smallest wheel I believe. However, you'll have to cut the wheel weights off if I remember correctly. However, certain 18" wheels will not fit.

I have Weld 17s front and rear. If you are stock ride height, stock LCAs will clear, just relocate the emergency brake cable. If you are lowered, you will need BMR LCAs, I have the adjustable model and still relocate the emergency brake cable.

As for tires, pretty much any 305/315 will fit. Which one depends on how you plan on using them and if you plan to DD the car and how often you plan to replace them.
