Well the dealer gave the car to me to drive for a day. Wow, I really don't want to give it back lol. The price did go up when I talked price however. Went up $2000! They said the $1500 was for Chevy loyalty incentive, and $500 was for competitive lease incentive. They said $30900 was $500 below the invoice price. Not sure if I will buy the car or not. I love it, but that's quite a price hike from the advertised price

I looked for a 2016 with all the options I wanted and got a brand new 2lt v6 rs with a $39k sticker for 28k out the door. Still a brand new car with a full warranty and I was able to get the color I wanted which was discontinued for 2017. You should consider looking at 2016s if you're looking for a crazy good deal.

Yea alot of dealership will toss in every incentive on the deal and then tell you sorry you do not qualify. If you like the car enough you want it, tell them thanks but no thanks the extra $2k I will shop around and let them said "wait" let me see what I can do.

I will tell you i saw a loaded 2017 2LT/RS convertible w/ custom OEM black chrome wheels this past weekend for $35k I know it's not that car yours is a 1LT) but this was a loaded 2LT/RS and a convertible just to give you an idea what else is out in the market.

not mine saw it @ Rodgers Chevrolet and yea those black chrome wheels are hot I am thinking about buying a set.

What I would do in this situation is say something along the lines of "I really like the car and am willing to pay what you have it advertised for, but no more."

Then they'll give you the "but that's for x y and z that you don't qualify for"

And you can simply repeat yourself. "I really like the car and am willing to pay what you have it advertised for, but no more."

Be polite yet stern and I think you will get what you want. If not, politely walk out and see if they call you. If they don't call you (which they probably will) then look elsewhere. Good luck.
