How light can a 5th Gen get?

Let's say that cost isn't an issue, and someone wanted to take a 5th Gen and make it as light as possible...what do you guys think the final curb weight could be?

Would it make sense to start with a manual V6?

I'm not doing this project, just thinking.

Openended question - all depends on how much you want to part with...? seats? carpet? dash? door panels?

I've been looking into this for long-term planning, but I've been disappointed with the available options. There's not nearly enough fiberglass parts out there. Although many body parts can be bought in carbon fiber, the wet-style CF doesn't seem to have much advantage per dollar over fiberglass, meaning we'd be spending hundreds for a few pounds.
