It unfortunately already happened with the V6 and 4cyl with the 1LE trim, that has nothing more than black hood and stock SS suspension.

Yeah, that’s true.

People can mock us as purists all they want, but don’t come complaining when the Camaro ends up as a FWD econo box. GM considered that, as a replacement of the 4th gen.

Also don't complain if the M6 beats the A10 on a track. Didn't Randy already try and couldn't beat the M6. It doesn't help that our 6th gear is gimped to top speed of 176+/-, A10 also topped out at 198. Image if they didn't gimp the M6.

The more they take driver's skill out of the process, the more boring it will become. Pretty soon people will just be sitting in cars and not driving.

The truth is the more they please us consumers, the better off they are as a whole. I wish they wouldn't gimp one to try and sell the other. But I will take my M6 over the A10 any day.

Have I liked the idea of the purest aspect of the 1LE as a manual only? Sure, but the more I think about it the more I realize the 1LE nameplate doesn't have shit to do with that. It's just about taking the regular version of the car and turning the handling stats up, regardless of which power plant is under the hood. If you guys think the addition of V6 and T4 1LEs diluted the name then guess what so did adding it to the ZL1! like I said I like the manual only aspect of the 1LE, but I realize that it really doesn't matter to me so big whoop.

As for mocking you guys...... Idk about the other dude but I only ever see you negatively reacting to stuff like this (mainly Z/28 related stuff), so yea when you are always trashing this stuff people are going to mock you rightfully so lol
