No problem! There is a learn mode on the LiftMasters that you enable by pushing a button under the cover. Then follow the owner's manual guidelines in your truck / homelink unit. This worked on our 10 year old Liftmaster and the one we recently purchased when we built our 2nd garage addition.

WHY??

OH AND GUESS WHAT HEPPENED YESTERDAY!! yesterday I had a WTF moment, the package for the above item came, and was happy as I was/could do the mod this weekend. NOT!! when I opened the box, what did I see....A FRICKIN REAR VIEW MIRROR!!!! WTF!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so I jump on line (AMAZON) and did the return thing, went to the UPS store (which is about 45 miles round trip) to ship it back....and the RIGHT (I HOPE) part was auto ordered. It will get here tomorrow. keeping my fingers crossed that they send the right thing this time....one thing that is encouraging is the last one came via UPS, and this one is through the regular mail....which is what I expected that last time. WE WILL SEE!
