Built SS 800whp 1/4 time guess.
I have a built 19 SS with A10 tranny that I just got built about a month ago. I am taking it to the track next weekend and wanted to see what kind of times I should expect. Tranny is tuned/ D1X on 15psi/ meth/ BTR intake/ lt4 fuel system. I will be rolling on 20s 1le with 555r2 in the rear. Like stated, I am 800whp on pump with meth, 890whp with C16.

Under ideal conditions, mid-high 9s at mid 140s? If i had to put a number on it 9.7@143?
Thats a barely educated guess. I think 700 whp gets you dipping in the high 9s at low 140s, and 1000whp gets you into middle 9s (around 9.4 to 9.6 or so).... Now lets let the folks who ACTUALLY know stuff talk

Just realized you have a D1X... do you have a stall conv? Otherwise, you are going to have to take a tenth or two off i think.

On 20's and no mention of converter, I'm saying mid to low 10's in the 140's mph.

I would say mid 10's, betting traction is going to be an issue.
I have learned from experience having the power to run 9's on paper is not the same as actually putting down that power effectively. Though with the D1x and no converter it will not hit as hard off the line so you might not have the traction issues I have. Good luck.

rcoe has a very good point, dyno sheet saying '9-second car' does not translate to 9-sec timeslips in MANY cases. SO many times I have seen cars run slower or even much slower ETs than they should. Setup and driving technique need to be sorted out if quick ETs are desired.
My suggestion is to have fun, and try to learn what works for your car. Tech requirements mean that you should bring a Snell 2015+ Helmet and an SFI 3.2A/1 race jacket. Helmet is for running under 14sec, and SFI jacket is for adding a supercharger (also required under 11.5sec), these are NHRA tech requirements. Not sure how your tech guys will be, but I have seen locally a driver who had installed a Procharger on a Coyote stuck in tech, and they would not pass him until he was able to borrow a jacket. |

10.2 - 10.3 @ 143
You won't be able to get out of the hole, at all, unless you are the stig You have the power, but none of the other stuff that makes for an efficient ET.

I seen cars really moving at the track and most not having jackets. Sometimes running with no helmets. I always wore mine but don't have a jacket. Next upgrade will be drag pack, maybe stall converter depending on how much I want to chase 9s. I have seen zl1 do 9s with just headers, intake and E.

Without a converter and running a ProCharger I'd say 10.40@144. My Camaro makes 707 and ran 9.80@142.96 but its a Maggie with THPSI port injection and it doesn't need a converter to launch as boost is instant. My 16ss with a 2650 with over 850 rwhp ran 9.41@147 but once again with a PD blower and instant boost, with the right stall converter mid 9s should be achievable but not on a 20" drag radial or street tire. Gonna have to go to a 17" drag radail or slick

I just went back and looked at my 9.80 pass and I was at full boost (177 kpa) in just under 3/4 second on the launch. Wish someone would post a Centri with no converter for a comparison, that would be interesting or even with a converter. Not a dragy, but track pass.

Didn't see the cam, he's got a good running ride for sure. Brett seems to tune those ProChargers as well as anyone. I know you have some fast ones out there also.
