Been a while since an update. Been putting a lot of hours in at work, but I do get to tinker here and there!

Body work is about 80% done. I don't have a current pic of the body work, I've done a lot more work on the strut towers and they look much better. They are covered now to protect them during the wiring phase.

Pulled off to work on wiring before pulling the motor.

Got my crossmember brackets fabbed up!

Probably be pulling the motor (what's left of it" in the next couple of weeks)

Still deciding on what short block I will be buying...

It's a long road, but I will get there sooner or later. Just trying to enjoy the ride! (except bodywork, I despise bodywork)

Brian

Thank you sir. It's looking pretty rough right now, but I am certain it will come together in the end!

It got so bad, that I basically decided to stop and start wiring. It was depressing me to come home every day and see the mess I had.

I'm not good at it, don't want to be good at it. LOL

When I was contemplating on what I wanted to do for my engine I came really close to buying this guy. They sell it in a few different compression ratios. https://www.jegs.com/i/ATK-Engines/059/SP73/10002/-1

I’m sure you are right. It does look better since we last talked about it.

Mainly money, because it only cost me around $4000 to build mine.

I get it. I've been saving my pennies for a while now and while I haven't decided exactly what I am going to do. I prefer to only do it once. I'm open to all options at this point and appreciate post like yours. Helps me figure it all out.
