IMO really depends on the color and trim. Black, silver, satin steel gray metallic all look Amazing in the 2019 1le trim package. Completely changes the look of the car and makes it aggressive as hell. Most other colors i think look better in the pre refresh look. (especially white).
I am actually a big fan of the tails as well. I know some hate them but i love how they flow with the colors i mentioned above. If i went pre 2019 i would have to get the smoked tails, i think the stock is just way too much red for me. If you have a dealership anywhere close with a 2019 in stock i would recommend looking in person. You could even swap the front fascia to the 2020 for cheap since its just the center grille piece (flowtie) and upper grille. Or just black out the flowtie. |

If you are going to change the front on a 2019 to look like a 2020 then why not just buy a 2020! You can get good deals on them now.

Some of the 2019s are going for cheap. It really just depends on how good of a deal you can get on a 2019 vs 2020! I know alot of people are just turned off of the 2019 front and dont even consider it but they can easily turn it into 2020 fascia for cheap.

I wanted a hyper blue car so I have to get an 18 but if you don’t care then get the newest car you can get , I like the tail lights in the 19/20 cars

I wanted a car that I could tinker with and drive occasionally. But I think the tail lights on the 18 are 1000 times nicer than the newer models. I just love that look.

I think the the tail lights of the 16-18 cars looks clearer and more modern than the 19+. Some will say otherwise, but that's probably due to the fact that they've seen the 16-18 style tails lights for years now, on the camaros as well as the c7's looking similar when they're lit up at night.

Agreed, and I think most people find that 2019 1le's look pretty good even of they hate most of the 2019s details and changes.

There's a wise old saying that goes, "familiarity breeds attraction."
For example I'm a white Cracker, but my wife is a black African-American. I grew up hanging around mostly black people. Don't get me wrong I had white friends too, but most of the white girls hanging out weren't interested in white boys, but many black girls were. For this reason I gained a huge attraction for black women, and as a result dated and fornicated with way more black women than I ever did with white or Hispanic women. Same with music. If all you listen to is rap then you would likely think it's the best music, the same for if a you listen to is heavy metal, or punk rock or whatever. Point being I used to hate the 2019's. When I saw the 1LE's I thought they looked pretty good, but still preferred the 17/18's. Still I got my 1LE for a nice deal IMO and went with it. Over the last few months I've really warmed up to the 19's to the point where I've started to prefer them depending on color to the older GEN6 cars. Don't get me wrong I like the 16-18. I like their taillights and the clean looking frontend. Still like it or not the 19's really standout. I have to say for such an ugly, poor selling car it sure does garner a lot of positive comments pretty much wherever I go. Go with the one you like the most or that gives you the better overall deal. There are a few differences and features, but at their heart they are the same cars. |

Not a fan of the nose and that stupid bowtie on the front bumper but love the rear tail lights and they are now smoked on the SS and RS package.

$4k isn't exactly chump change, even if there wasn't a cosmetic refresh for '19, I'd take the `18 for purely financial reasons. The fact that I prefer the looks of the `16 - '18`s would make it a no brainer for me. I'm not buying the car though, you are so get whichever you prefer!
