That ain't half bad. It beat the outgoing Z51 by a decent margin. If this is all true that is.

It's fast, but I'd say it's a fail from a performance standpoint if it doesn't beat the C6 ZR1 from two generations ago. It should at least be expected to beat the C6Z wZ07 from two generations ago.

Genuinely surprised, considering the ZL1 did a 7.29 (and unofficial 7.27) and the 1LE managed a 7.16

Gary, you have a ZL1 in London? Do people there mistake it for a monster truck?

It normally gets mistaken for Darth Vader's Daily

(with only 4 or 5 in the Country, it does a fairly good job of confusing the Hell out of people)

I see why some are surprised, but I never expected it to beat the ZLE in the Ring. 7:28 is a little disappointing if it was a legitimate uninterrupted run but it's not terrible, entry level sub 500 hp corvette. I'm sure most were hoping for a 7:18-7:20 time though, so understand the disappointment.

2017 Corvette Grandsport (sold) - untouched.
2006 GTO (sold) - iat relocation, air box mod, monero side marker lights.

Yep, I was hoping for something sub 7:20. It's not bad. We are just spoiled.

Agreed, plus all the easter egg hunters were hoping the 7/18 reveal date meant that if I remember correctly.

Yea I don't believe it.... it should be at least marginally faster than a ZL1 and fairly close to the ZLE.

I was expecting it to beat the C6 Z06/Z07 but it didn't.

The ZR1 has 150 more hp. That matters.
