Consider this, keeping the flow tie and blacking out the emblem will make it easier to clean bugs off the black bar on the 2019.
I spend an hour each drive cleaning WI bugs off the darned car.

Here is the link for the 2019 bumper insert. Looks like 2020 parts aren’t available yet through the GM parts sites.

That looks awesome, well done! I agree with you, I like the contrast of color. I have Riverside Blue and the black bar breaks it up nicely. I plan to add gloss black side skirts and front splitter soon. I’ve always had popular taste in cars and my 19 SS is the first I’ve owned that seems to be the very unpopular choice.

You’d probably have to do a zl1 front bumper swap. That way, you can get the headlights you’re after, and get the more aggressive front end of the zl1.

It’d also help with removing the bowtie emblem that’s front and center.

Just another option at your disposal.

Do I have to take the bumper off to remove the center part to put in the non flow tie piece?

Yep, I had the whole front bumper assembly off and removed all the grills and stuff so I could vinyl wrap mine the other week. I didnt see a way to do any of that without removing the bumper

I plastidipped the flowtie. I like the black front end. It contrasts nicely against the garnett red tintcoat and I feel it gives the Camaro a really aggressive look that the 16-18s lack.

Wonder if we'll see a hybrid 19/20 front end from someone. Start with a 2019, put the bow tie back up to the upper grill then use a black 2020 center section for a blacked out look with proper bow tie placement and flowtie delete. I think it'd look pretty cool.

Oddly enough the flowtie in the grill really doesn't bother me anymore. I used to hate it.

One thing that I think could improve the look is to lesson the width of the blacked area. The small panels below the headlights could be painted the color of the rest of the car and it would give you less of the Joker smile kind of look the stock car has.

I'm talking about these small panels under the headlights that rap around the ends of the headlights:

Still the look has very much grown on me. I really dig the OEM 2019 SS look. IMO it will be a very sought after GEN6 Camaro in a few years seeing as it was sold for one year and in small #'s.

The reason it was only for one year and small numbers is because it wasn't sought after.
We can probably say the 19 was the reason they looked to kill off the Camaro.

Any mass produced car isn't going to be rare, but they should have never used the transformers split front end on it.
