I don't like burble. I like a deep smooth rumble.

Sounds like stock is what you want then...who knows, probably the only way you'll know for sure is to try it on your setup. Vids and audio aren't going to really give the true sound

Had an H-pipe done to my SS... Primary cat deletes into H-pipe into stock NPP...
sounds completely different now.. doesn't sound like an LT1 or LS, maybe a combo of both idk but it's just different from anything I've really heard.. The sound is much deeper, more rumble, less refined, downshifts don't have the same rasp snap, downshifts are a bit muted compared to before but still screams up top..

For the cost I'm content... would be interesting to add an axel-back to see how that sounds, don't think I've seen/heard any videos of that setup... I'm gonna try to make a video in a couple days.

I had the factory X section cut out and had exhaust shop make an hpipe and weld it into my exhaust. The sound is a much deeper growl with less rasp. Im also running texas speed catless headers with a borla stype axelback, love the sound.

So it looks like GM changed there mind and decided an X pipe sounds better. I find it hard to believe an H pipe would make it sound different, and intuitively you know it dosent flow as good as an X.

From what people are saying it sounds like the H pipe makes it sound deeper, less refined, and more rumble. It sounds like a sound I wouldn't like, to me the NPP already sounds way too raspy and unrefined at WOT, but it does sound really good at part throttle at around 2 or 3k rpms.

Looks like the H-Pipe eliminates the Crackle...excellent. How does the H-pipe effect the performance?
