ordering question...

the sooner I place my order, the sooner I'll get it? or it doesn't matter? if I place my order now will I get it around the same time as the rest? I never order one before so I'm just wondering and I know you guys know a lot about all this stuff.

The sooner you go to 2000 the more likely your build will be assembled "sooner" rather than "later." It is true the first few weeks of builds (note not necessarily orders) will ship together in the first few days after shipping starts but I suspect those are pretty much accounted for. Once we see October 26 TPWs we will know for sure.

I would say since we started seeing the new 10/19 TPW's yesterday, from this point forward TPW's will be future dates, 10/26 and on.

I notice some questions regarding a TPW moving up and it is true that happens but I have never seen the official start of production date move up. It takes about 2.75 shifts from the start of an order to roll off at the end of final trim so if VIN 100001 is to roll of at 8AM 10/05 it has to start the previous Thursday afternoon.

What is more likely is the start date will be pushed back but so far there is no indication of such.
