Really liking this 2019 hood design do we think it might be able to bolt on the 2018?

I do like the hood vents on the '19, but still think the '16-'18 hood flows better with the design of the car. I wonder if there are any actual aerodynamic advantages with the new hood.

+1 I would agree on that. The shape of the fender and bumper is the same ergo the hood should fit.

I really like the new hood as well but I worry the lines flow on to the bumper and would miss match there

Well if the hood fits then you could always run the 2019 into a wall and have the body shop put the 2016-18 front end on it.

I like the hood too. Its Corvette inspired for sure. I wondered too if it would fit.

I may be wrong, but i think i remember reading that the front was a little taller on the '19, therefore maybe the overall angle of the hood may have a different, slighter slope

I’m curious how beneficial it would be for cooling. That’s really what I’m after. I’m sure it was designed around the new 19 front end so I’m a little concerned it won’t be aero friendly with the older bumper.

I don't think the 16-18 front bumper lines up to the 19 hood.
I really need this hood for heat extraction.
