I'm betting a pre-SEMA announcement, and then public debut will be at the SEMA show. I'm pretty sure they did the same thing with the last one.

Embargo drops in 7 minutes. Seems they originally planned to release this earlier, but moved the date to today.

Get ready for an info bomb.

I'm liking it a lot actually. The orange looks fantastic.

Here's more information

http://www.motortrend.com/news/hotte...thday-at-sema/

There’s actually a lot included:

Available on coupe and convertible body styles, the package includes
- Special “Crush” orange paint inspired by the iconic orange flexible track
- Orange brake calipers,
- Seat inserts, and interior upholstery stitching are included
- gray and silver stripes
- gray forged 20-inch wheels.
- unique grille with chrome inserts
- a ground effects package
- dark-lens tail amps set in a black panel with the Hot Wheels emblem
- 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels badge on the steering wheel
- carpeted floor mats with orange stitching and “ghost” stripes
- doorsill plates with a light-up stripe of orange.
- Coupes also get a unique spoiler

This package adds $4,995 to a 2LT grade V-6 or 2SS V-8 Camaro, so budget at least $36,490 for a V-6 coupe and $53,990 for a V-8 convertible. That’s actually down from the $6,995 pricing of the Kinetic Blue 45th-anniversary 2013 package. Then, as now, no performance upgrades were included.

People are going to want this orange big time as a regular color, but it never happened on the 5th gen hot wheels car, and may not happen this time around either.

Agreed. It's an awesome color.

Maybe or maybe not, but you try to do all of that yourself on a regular Camaro, and you'll spend that much or more to get everything it has, and you still won't have the orange paint..

I agree, and it will seem like a bargin for folks that are into Hot wheels and special edition theme cars. Im just not sure I could spend that much when mainly it just the color that I care about. Im sure they will sell them. This gen6 car looks good no matter what treatment they give them.

Mmmmm the COPO...

BTW...anyone take note on the COPO debuting a new LT1 based 302? With short stroke crank for high RPM?
