A couple of webcams in the plant would be nice. Watch the beautiful cars rolling down the line.

I have especially been following the lethal garage YouTube channel (sledgehammer70 here on the forums) because he just so happens to live right around the corner from me. Good guy with some decent install videos for mods on our 6th gens. He and his friends also started CamaroCon, the west coast version of CamaroFest.

arpad_m,
Thanks for the other video.
Kuro,

Here is the link.

Again, this is from 2010, not as recent as the other link.

Thanks,

I'm with you, I would put down some cash for the DVD. They could make some serious money from folks like us just wanting all the details.

Yeah, but I wouldn't get any work done if they did that!

Seriously.

Oh, and I watched both videos today. Good stuff.

I forgot to mention too, in every review I see of the 6th gen Camaro, no matter what their postion is on the car as a whole, they all do the same thing. The first time the really put that pedal down and let the Camaro stretch its legs, every review gets this sh*t eating grin on their face and giggles like a little kid. Between the sound and the acceleration, even if they hate the car, they just can't help themselves.

And I want some of that.

Interesting point. I noticed that as well. The one video where they interviewed the journalist and he said he recorded his thoughts while test driving the Camaro and the first 30 seconds were nothing but expletives! It's comments like that where I just can't wait to get her out on the open road and see what she can do!

It's nice to have a site to go where others have the same interest and enthusiasm as you do. And Becky is fantastic! She is so kind to provide us updates even though we didn't purchase the car from her. Kind of makes me regret not knowing about this site earlier.

If this is your first Camaro, you are really going to love it. If you watch any of the reviews on YouTube all of them say the same thing, it's fun to drive. The Camaro may not have the backseat of the others or the trunk space, but its a beast to drive. Plus it just looks mean, and I love that.

I am in a rare position that I do really need to work. I am disabled, living with family. Just sold off the house I had and basically have no bills. I work to be able to have my toys and continue to enjoy my life and so I am currently using this Camaro as my inspiration for work.
I took the 5 pictures of my car (from Chevrolet Camaro builder) the 4 outside shots and the one inside shot looking forward and I made them my background on my computer at work. I have two monitors on the computer at work and they show a different shot on each monitor and rotate them every 10 minutes. It really keeps me going during the busy day when I close a window and see that beautiful car staring back at me. I think my favorite shot right now is the inside shot. With the 27" monitors and the picture filling the whole background, it almost feels like I sitting inside the car. Great inspiration.

Not sure I'm gonna make it. I almost went to a monthly local car show here in town yesterday, but then I couldn't make it. I realized later that the car show was actually next weekend. I had the Monday 3/2 date stuck in my head so hard, my mind jumped forward a week.

Have you started ordering parts for your car yet?

Not yet. I'm not sure I am going to do too many mods for my car. I did clear out my third car garage yesterday. Have to have some place to park it when it comes in.

It's going to be a long week. If I don't get an early build next week, I might just lose my mind.
