It is a great start for beginners. I started there and moved on to Time Trials.
I drive a little over 2 hours to get there. Cost is less than $150 and I only have to use a half day of vacation is where the worth is to me.

(Ex: If I have to get a hotel anyway, I might as well get a full day in better conditions). Are there follow-on events that typically coincide the following day, or other attractions to draw folks out?

For those who have done it, do you have any feedback or comments on the pro/con of the evening format? I'm open-minded, just struggling to find a scenario where TINA fits into the time/money budget.
A "normal" track day is 4 20 minute sessions, this is 3 20 minute sessions. Not that much different.

This fits into time/money budget much better. It usually costs 1/2 to 1/3rd the cost of a normal track day. And you don't have to take the full day off from work for example or have to get a hotel overnight.

Normal track day I'm up at 5am and back home by 7-8pm for 80 minues on track and costs over $300.

TNIA I leave my house at 3pm and back home by 7-8pm for 60 minutes on track and costs $125.

You do the math

TNIA is a great low cost way to try out running on a hopefully local track. If you like it you can go on to bigger and maybe better events including running with an instructor, class room training and more.

A trip to Daytona looks tempting as a bucket list item especially if I can find another track day or two with a different group on the way there or back from Texas!

So true, if it weren't for TNIA, i probably wouldn't get on the track! I only take a half day off work, really only miss a few hours with the family as i'm back at the house around 9-10pm. 60min on the track is a lot for me! Totally worth it!

I now only do tracknights, and this is my 4th season doing them.

I'm registered for Daytona in the Advanced group; really hoping my schedule will work out for a road trip there from Texas!

There is also an HPDE event at Sebring the next day hosted by PDG Performance Driving Group!

Anybody else in north Texas going to MSR Cresson on June 2nd? Planning on taking my new LT1 out for a post break in spin.

I'm doing the opposite. I live in Orlando, so I have run Daytona about 20 times.

I'm road-tripping to VIR! Whoo! See you there on 7/16.
