Light rattle when shifting from 1st to 2nd - Page 4

I seem to be having the same noise on my 6th gen 6speed ss. Bought it used with 8k miles. Might take it to the dealer have them check and also let them know other people are having the same issue.

Clutch chatter. Lots of manuals experience this not just GM.. My 5th Gen did it but not my 6th gen.

I had this same problem, and I guess the previous owner felt it was normal and never addressed it.
I took it in as soon as I heard it and I was told a set screw gets loose.

I'm one of those that only like to hear the motor/exhaust as I drive, and anything else gets magnified, and I get annoyed with it easily...

They changed my knob and I haven't had the problem since...been about 4k miles now.

See post 27, and take your car in it should be covered if there's a TB on it.
