2016 SS, 3 bad fuel injectors

I got a "Service Stabilitrac" message and the dealer found 3 bad fuel injectors.

What could have caused this?

Would this be covered by the drivetrain warranty?

Has anybody else seen this? The dealer said this was the first time he saw it on a 6.2. The car has around 24,000 miles.

My full warranty will run out next month. If this is not covered by drivetrain warranty, I am considering having them all replaced now.

Thanks,
John

I have no idea why 3 injectors would fail and believe this should be a warranty repair for you.

I had two fail at 10k miles. It started as a cold start rough idle code for me. It was covered under warranty, and should also be covered under drivetrain.

No big deal and get them replaced before the warranty runs out! My 2016 SS that I used to own had 1 injector replaced under warranty a few months before I got rid of it for my ZL1.

I had Stabilitrak warnings a few weeks ago.
It was one bad plug wire.

You might have bad injectors?? who knows but the dealer.
They do make money off warranty claims.......

Are all 3 odd cylinders? The reason why I ask is because somebody else had a similar issue and their mechanic reached out to a GM engineer who acknowledged that there is a issue with LT1 injectors "coking" on the odd cylinders(1,3,5,7) for some reason. The good news is a can of seafoam fixed the issue.
