BEST Two Sided Tape For Attaching Plastic

Hi, I am attaching ground effects to the wife's Camaro. What is the best two-sided tape is for attaching the plastic to the painted surface of the car? I need 3/8 - 1/2 wide x 25 mil thick.

I wouldn't rely on tape alone for attaching a splitter or side skirts, there is continuous air pressure that varies in intensity and keeps trying to rip them off. Mine are attached with 13-14 screws each in addition to double-sided tape that fills any thin gaps. True, that means holes in the body, but I don't intend to run without side skirts ever again, and the splitter reuses factory bolt locations, I did not install the recommended rivets and it's been fine for years.

3M VHB is what I have used for badging and it held up well. The absolute king of tapes I have ever seen is whatever Carbonaddons are using for their carbon fiber overlay parts, it sticks like crazy glue immediately.

i use tape with screw when i did mine. also use 3M doublesided tape with adhesion promoter. the promoter you just apply it to the ground effects and the car.
